On a Winderful Day

On a Winderful Day

by Kathy McGuire

On a winderful day

My hair floats across my face.

Not for leaves and roses is

The stillness of a still-life vase

On a winderful day

The sprays all bend in just one way

While other plants do as they may

The passing air is my bouquet

On a winderful day!
