A Butterfly Caught Me Today

IMG_1097.JPG

A butterfly caught me today

Looking down, on my way.

Did she make me stop to see

Her alighting in a tree?

With tips of brown and sides of gold

By folded leaves her wings unfold.

With hair of brown and arms of red

Was I a butterfly, wings spread?

A butterfly caught me today

Looking up, glad to stay.

I was there and so was she

In a moment meant to be.

She was there and so was I

Happy as the butterfly.
